Company History

Danish Clean Water A/S was founded in 2008 and we are developing electro-chemical-activation systems for on-site production of liquid disinfection systems for bacterial control in water. The start-up capital for the foundation came from PMC Star, a private venture capital company owned by Peter Mads Clausen, who is one of the principal shareholders of Danfoss. Danfoss is a global technology corporation and is a world leader in heating technology.

Until today, Danish Clean Water uses all Danfoss facilities including their fully accredited state of art laboratories. All DCW systems are manufactured with the highest standard of engineering and combine innovation and highest quality with environmental awareness, reliability and efficiency.

The first DCW unit prototypes were already made at the beginning of 2009 and were installed in many businesses and have been running ever since. The actual introduction to the market was mid-2009 and since then over 700 Danish Clean Water DCW units have been in daily use, sold in more than 24 countries around the world.
